Hilliard Enstooled as Development Chief

On July 23, 2000, Dr. Asa Hilliard and his wife were enstooled as development chiefs at Mankranso Village in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It's the tradition to carry the chief through the village on the shoulders of strong young men.
